demo preview!
after a lot of tinkering i managed to adjust the code to make the player move instead of a "fake" player. while this might not seem important now, and you probably wont notice a difference, it allows for things like coins which would have been a pain to make with the old movement system, it reduces the length of the code by like around 300 lines (which may also give a little extra performance in the long term) and maybe i could even add NPCs/enemies because of this new system.
because its a whole new project, i had to re-write most of the code but it also means i have to remake the menus/levels/basically everything else thats in the current Demo V1 which may take a while but ill try get it out as quick as i can!
theres not really much to do in the demo preview except for move around a very simplified version of the tutorial and collect coins but try it out!
anyway, i'll get back to trying to port the current demo to the new demo project - see you when its done!
